Summer Reading 2022
The Adult Summer Reading Program is back!
Come into the library to sign-up and pick up your bingo card at the check out counter. The program will run from June 21 through August 26. The bingo boards have fun ways to earn a square (i.e. Read a book with a one-word title; Explore a new author…). Colored dot stickers are included with each bingo board. Participants will apply a dot to each square earned. Each bingo earns a small prize and raffle tickets to try for bigger prizes!
All participants will turn their boards in the last week, regardless of how many squares they fill, and are invited to attend the grand finale party from 3-4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 under the tent. The raffle tickets will be drawn and prizes handed out. Light refreshments will be served, too.
Thanks to the following businesses for donating gift cards for prizes: Your Place & Ours, Jeff and Maria’s Ice Cream and Food, Hodgie’s Ice Cream, The Tap Brewing Company, Bradford Tavern, Brown Sugar by the Sea, Nunan Florist & Greenhouses, Jabberwocky Books, and Azul Mexican Restaurant.

The Knit-a-Bitters

The Italian Conversation Group
Do speak Italian , want to learn Italian, and/or have an interest in anything Italian? Then this is the group for you! The group meets during the school year on Wednesday afternoons from 3-4pm. It’s a come when you can scenario. The group does not meet during the school vacation weeks, when the library is closed, or in the summer.
